High product quality can only be ensured if the processes taking place in the company and factory also demonstrate high process quality. The basic design of these processes already takes place during factory planning. In this project, which is funded by the German Research Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft), the requirements of high process quality are integrated into factory planning at an early stage. By setting up quality-oriented factory planning, it is possible to support the goal of high process and product quality even before production begins. Corresponding quality-enhancing measures can be implemented both during new planning and during a reorganization of the existing factory.
