Aim of the Course

The course includes learning methods of ‘lean philosophy’ in the context of production systems and resource efficiency increases.
The course subject is the success factors of lean production systems and the critical selection and application of the underlying methods.
The content includes the areas of value creation and waste, set-up process analysis, just-in-time, shop floor management, lean administration, and lean sustainability.

The content is structured as follows:

  • M04 - Setup process analysis
  • M05 - Value stream management
  • M06 - Total Quality Maintenance & Total Productive Management

Examination

The written exam in SoSe 24 will take place on Mo, 12.08.2024 from 10.00 to 12.00 as a 90-minute attendance exam.
